We are a small to medium sized enterprise offering CQC registered secure patient transport services to the NHS and Ofsted registered Children’s Home Placements. We have a wide range of carbon emissions and, as a rapidly growing business we now recognise the need to ensure we manage our carbon footprint and begin to work towards becoming carbon neutral / net zero in due course.
Our current VCare24 Carbon Reduction Plan May 2024 published and ratified by our Director in May 2024 shows the significant strides we have taken to progress in understanding and reducing our carbon emissions.

The above plan was our first public commitment to sustainability and since then we have taken significant strides forwards to ensure that we obtain our baseline data to be able to take measurements in our first reporting year, 2023-2024.
Corporate Social Value / Corporate Social Responsibility
We are committed to being a responsible employer, we have a heavy focus on providing support to local businesses wherever we can in the supply chain. We also undertake regular sponsorship events and activites to raise money for registered charities.
We intend to publish a formal Corporate Social Value programme for 2024.
Modern Day Slavery
We are committed to eradicating modern day slavery in our supply chain and are currently undergoing the MSAT Assessment. In the meanwhile, our Modern Day Slavery Policy sets out the current procedures we follow to ensure we comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
About Us
We are a small company with a big vision, to offer an Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) recognised service with a person-centered approach to offer the highest standards of care working collaboratively with other professionals.
VCare24 limited was established in October 2017, since then recognised itself in two Regulatory bodies, having six homes registered with Ofsted for bespoke resident placements and being regulated under CQC for the secure patient transport and working in partnership with two Local large NHS Trust. In addition to this we see the need for an education provision, which we are currently in the process of Registering with DFE as an Independent school.
We currently provide a wide variety of specialist services nationally, including:
- Children/young person’s residential care homes.
- Children/young person’s residential care homes offering specialised support to young people with Learning Disabilities.
- Secure patient transport service.
We understand that each individual has their own needs, desires and dreams, and make it our mission to support them and fully commit to supporting each individual to enable them to achieve ‘their personal best’.
We recognise that a diverse and skilled staff team allow us to offer a bespoke service with the individuals needs at the center.
Continuously striving to develop the staff skills, knowledge and understanding by with the use of an in-depth induction and refreshing/updating knowledge to maximise understanding, safety and dignity in the workplace, while listening to the views of those we serve, with a willingness to learn from any feedback and views of others. Provides them with all the tools required to deliver the highest possible standards for children/young people/vulnerable throughout all our services.
